Even though Reebok has a minor participatory role in these Olympic Games at London, it still feels like home coming for some who remember the brand as part of England’s J.W. Foster and Sons as well as one of the oldest footwear company in the world. In part to celebrate Reebok’s heritage and to liven its expansive archive a bit, the now adidas subsidiary will launch a new Vintage Collection for Fall/Winter 2012. Alterations will be minimal to all the timeless silhouettes such as the Classic Leather, the Workout, to the Freestyle Hi. Each, instead, will include exclusive appointments like cracked leather, premium suede upper, and new pastel colorways. All to be available starting next month at select Reebok and Reebok Classics retail locations worldwide.
