He may live in a pineapple under the sea, but that doesn’t mean Spongebob Squarepants and his crew can’t find the time to kick it with you in your own neighborhood. The subject of the latest collab between Creative Recreation and BAIT, the Spongebob collection takes classic CR sneaker styles and dons them with the personality of the show’s main stars, including Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and Spongebob himself. Each of the kicks feature the characters on the footbeds, with Spongebob on the Lusco, Mr. Krabs on a pin-striped Kaplan V, Patrick on the Cesario XVI Lo and Squidward on the Hi. The collection will also see a special BAIT shoebox with each of the special edition sneakers that transforms into a Spongebob with attitude. If you didn’t get a chance to check them out at Comic Con, they’ll be on display at the POP LIFE Exhibition in Beijing on August 17, 2012.
