Liu Xiang x Nike LunarGlide+ 4

Having to bowed out because of an injury during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the “Fly Man” of China, Liu Xiang, is in top form and ready for the 110-meter hurdle event next week. One of the favorite to win venue at 2012 Summer Olympics in London, the former world record holder and the so-called “triple crown” winner will don on a special pair of Nike LunarGlide+ 4 off the track, one made to celebrate Xiang’s achievements, both past and future ones. In white with vibrant red accents, laces, and Lunarlon sole, the Nike LunarGlide+ 4 – Liu Xiang Edition is full of symbolism from Xiang’s Chinese heritage. The colors are references to favorable opportunities to come while an imprint of a traditional Chinese knot reflects the support back in China. The Liu Xiang x Nike LunarGlide+ 4 is currently available at select Nike retailers within China. In the meantime, round 1 of 110-meter hurdle will take place next Tuesday, August 7th.
