There are many parts of our daily life affected by systems, processes, and people that we never even think twice about – we just expect our goods to be in the stores when we want them and our power to switch on when we flip the switch. But, working behind the scenes are countless men and women who all do their part in keeping our economy chugging forward. One of those places and some of the people are at the San Francisco Bay Railroad who recently opened their doors to Oakland-based photographer Alex Ramos and MISSIONWORKSHOP to give unique insight into their day-to-day operations. The results of the work, which itself was captured in the trailer after the jump, will be put on exhibit at MISSONWORKSHOP’s San Francisco warehouse from August 17 – September 21, 2012 following an opening night party.
