The final chapter in LeBron James‘ first championship season concludes with Nike‘s unveiling of the LeBron 9 “Championship Pack.” The special collection includes two new colorways of the Nike LeBron 9 Elite and the LeBron 9 MVP. We’ve seen plenty of these two models already, strapped to the feet of James during his post-season run, but this is Nike’s first formal presentation of the pack ahead of their highly anticipated release. The LeBron 9 Elite features a predominately red upper with gold accents alongside black carbon fiber paneling, an obvious nod to his team colors. The tongue also holds a new “2012 MVP” branding instead of James’ signature, as seen on the previous release. The LeBron 9 MVP uses gradient coloring, moving from black to yellow and to white across its upper with the MVP logo on the heel and trophies printed on the sockliner. Both come wrapped in a gold shoe bag within a black and gold embossed box fitting of the king. The unveiling didn’t include release dates, but you can expect these to be a very limited release in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for the latest information as it becomes available.
