Hailed as “…the most capable and most luxurious Land Rover yet…”, the upcoming 2013 Range Rover is lighter yet stronger than any of its predecessors. The fourth generation of this iconic flagship model retains its signature, the unmistakeable box-like silhouette. Though designers have gone over the lines to streamlined the overall look. The result is a timeless classic with subtle modern refinements. Built on an all-aluminum monocoque frame work, a world’s first for a SUV, the new Range Rover is about 39% lighter than the current model with a total weight saving of 420 kg. This translates to sturdier structure overall, a much better fuel efficiency, and lower carbon dioxide footprint. Customers will have a wide range of options to select from. For the powerplant along, there is the V8, the TDV6 diesel, and TDV8 diesel. The same goes for the interior, where new design gives more space for the finest leather and wood paneling. The 2013 Range Rover by Land Rover is set to be in showrooms worldwide by September 2012 with deliveries start early next year.
