While laptops get smaller and lighter, screens get clearer and thinner, and processors speeds get insanely faster, it seems as if the world has forgotten about the mouse. Essentially the point where the connection between man and machine is made, BMW DesignworksUSA and their partners at Themaltake believe that the time has come for a radically new way to design and develop these computer accessories. Earlier this year we previewed what their solution looked like, the Level 10 M mouse, which features an open body aluminum frame to reduce hand temperatures, your choice of four body colorways, an optical light that shines in 7 different colors, and a series of buttons that can be customized to its user. It has a futuristic look that is matched equally by its capabilities, a fact that has not been lost on the larger gaming and design community. The much anticipated design began to hit major retailers around the world on August 27, 2012, retailing for about $99 USD.
