At first glance, this PUMA store in Bangalore, India, may not look any different from your average retail outlet around the world. However, upon close inspection, we are able to understand the details that make this retail store their world's first sustainable shop. First, this store does not use any conventional air conditioning, often seen as overhead units. Instead, they have constructed ducts that reach 12 feet below the store, cooling the air naturally through the Earth. It is also fitted with solar panels that also acts as owning on the store front, and generates enough energy to power the lighting of the whole shop.
