Not just a fashion designer, many consider http://dvf.com” target=”_blank”>Diane von Furstenberg as an innovator too, including http://google.com” target=”_blank”>Google‘s Sergey Brin. But there was another reason why the co-founder of Internet’s largest search giant’s was at Furstenberg’s http://mbfashionweek.com” target=”_blank”>Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York runway show yesterday. To showcase the real-world application of https://plus.google.com/+projectglass” target=”_blank”>Google Project Glass and the potential real-time, augmented reality usage, Brin outfitted several models with the device. Brin worked side-by-side with the label’s creative director, Yvan Mispelaere, and cadre of make-up artists and hair stylists to make sure each of the high-tech eyepieces coordinated with the outfits. More importantly, the presentation dispelled the notion of a cyborg-like visual appearance for users of https://plus.google.com/+projectglass” target=”_blank”>Google Project Glass. In fact, models appeared to be matter-of-factly about the device and treated like any other fashionable accessories, albeit a very technical one.
