Last week we showed you the inside of the Louis Vuitton concept store set-up at SELFRIDGES in London showcasing their collection with Yayoi Kusama, which was cleverly previewed with a “Spot the Difference” video campaign. Thinking that a polka-dot covered display wasn’t enough, SELFRIDGES upped the ante with a 13-foot tall statue of the icon herself that will tower over the main entrance of the store, quietly welcoming visitors into her colorful world. Creating the massive fiberglass statue – complete with her signature look – was a feat of its own, something the British retailer recorded in this Making Of video featured after the jump. You can visit the sculpture in-person through October 1 while the shop itself will be open until the 19th.
