Bowers & Wilkins A5 and A7 Wireless Music Systems

Top British audio company Bowers & Wilkins enters the wireless music streaming market with the launch of two new systems. The A5 and the A7 Wireless Music Systems use Apple‘s AirPlay in order to stream music directly to the speakers, allowing users to send music from iPhones, iPads, iPods, network-connected Macs and PCs, and online music apps like Pandora. The A5 is the smaller of the two – coming in at 7 x 14 x 4.5 inches – but it comes packed with two 1 inch Nautilus aluminum tweeters and two 4 inch drive units, all housed within a unassuming, but classic black and grey body. The A7, on the other hand, is about 50% bigger and comes with an additional drive unit as well as a 6 inch subwoofer. Both speakers will be available in stores in early October, so check B&W’s website to find a retailer near you.
