On the occasion of its five-year anniversary, East London's The Goodhood Store has teamed up with Norse Projects on a stellar monochromatic capsule collection. Made up of the Elka Parka and Shop Jacket, along with the "Grim Up North" tee and a polka dotted 5 panel cap, the goods are finished in sleek black with complementary white accents. With respect to the "It's Grim Up North" tagline, here's the explanation courtesy of the Goodhood crew: "As Norse Projects is a product of the cold, cold north and the Goodhood's owners both emigrated from the UK's cold north themselves (Manchester & Scotland) to base themselves in London, we thought it was very apt to utilise the slogan 'It's grim up North,' made famous in 1991 by legendary British Electro band the KLF with the single of the same name. It highlights the UK's North/South divide which is cause for endless amusement to those who have escaped the North to sunnier shores in the South!" Find the pieces now at The Goodhood Store's online shop, as well as Norse Projects' e-store.
