Sixteen years ago today, October 2, 1996, Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with cancer. Since recovering and starting the Lance Armstrong Foundation, he has help to raise over $470 million to help people affected by cancer and empower them to take action against it. Today, October 2, marks Nike‘s LIVESTRONG Day, which they are using as a platform to release their Holiday 2012 Collection full of running and training apparel, footwear, and accessories for men and women who want in on the fight even as the temps begin to drop. In addition to updates to the line’s cold-weather gear, this year we see a limited-edition, all-yellow NIke LunarMTRL+ LAF as well as an array of Dri-FIT shorts, a Vapor jacket, hoodies, and more. The Nike LIVESTRONG collection is available now at Nike’s online store and at select retailers around the world.
