The CONVERSE First String range is back with another Kasuri hit, following their initial pack release that we previewed at the end of September. This time they work on the iconic Jack Purcell sneaker lines, both the low top and high top versions, giving us three looks with an upper woven with pre-dyed woolen threads known in Japan as Kasuri to create a unique overlay motif. Both the natural gum rubber soled Johnny Ox and the dark grey Johnny Hi also come with the expected details synonymous with the First String program, including tortoise shell eyelets, comfort insoles, and the iconic rubber toe cap. While their collab with Italian brand Missioni is finished with naturally tanned leather detailing on the foxing, tongue, heel pull, and branding. All of these looks are available now at the UK’s Footpatrol.
