Having done signature designs for its pro-skating team, eyewear label 9FIVE recently received a rare opportunity when Jordan Brand came calling. The request was straight forward yet nonetheless interesting – to create a line of player exclusive eyewear for Russell Westbrook. As a welcoming gift for the OKC‘s point guard in becoming the newest member of Team Jordan, the eyewear also highlights Westbrook’s key fashion trait in bring “geek chic” to the NBA. No decision thus far on whether the collection will be available as general release.
