Following the release of shots of the reworked Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder we previewed earlier this week ahead of the 2012 L.A. Auto Show, the Italian supercar brand now reveals a new look for their customer racer. Scheduled to make an appearance within their Blancpain Super Trofeo race series, the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo received a significant aero kit upgrade for 2013, which results in an estimated 120-percent improvement in its aerodynamic efficiency compared to its predecessor. Other modifications include remodeling the brake ducts, improving the front-brake cooling by 50%, and increasing the downforce, but the LP570-4 is expected to carry over the same 570-hp V10 engine found in the 2012 model. All together, Lamborghini expects the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo help to maintain their standing within the 2012 racing season, which includes six race weekends and 58 drivers around many tracks including the Nurburgring.
