The most identifiable element to Nike Snowboarding’s Zoom Ites Boot would be its resemblances to the iconic Nike Air 180. Like the Zoom Kaiju Boot, which took on all the exact details on the Air Jordan III Retro Black Cement, the Zoom Ites Boot features the same white/ultramarine-infrared colorway and even down to the Nike Air 180’s wrapped around air unit (as a yellow sole insert). But its more than just the design features that will set the Zoom Ites Boot apart from the rest. With help from Nike Innovation Kitchen and pro-rider Gigi Ruf, Nike Snowboarding created a custom fit insert for the boot. Depending on your preference, from flexible, medium, to stiff, rider can forgo the inner boot for more flexible fit, an infrared colored one for medium flex and an ultramarine one for the stiffest of the three fits.
Along with performance-oriented custom fit system, similar to that on the new Air Jordan 2012, the Nike Zoom Ites also include a Flywire cuff and inner lacing harness for the ultimate “boardfeel” and dexterity. Finally, a Nike Free-inspired outsole further enhance boardfeel and natural motion. The Nike Snowboarding Zoom Ites Boot is available in already mentioned white/ultramarine-infrared colorway as well as in black/volt. Available now through select snow sports retailers worldwide.
