When F.C. Copenhagen and adidas hit up Wood Wood creative director Karl Oskar to design the football club’s alternate jersey (the team’s “secret jersey,” as Oskar puts it), he calls the honor a “dream come true,” before admitting to a bout of performance anxiety at the prospect of creating the third team kit. The resulting design borrows the black hue from the team’s away jersey; royal blue symbolizing the concept of putting the athletes on a pedestal; and a quirky reddish-brown hue unique to football.
