The Pressure x LOOK/SEE Sunglasses

For the brand’s first ever artist-collab release, LOOK/SEE turned to Adam R. Garcia, the founder of Portland, Oregon, based design studio The Pressure. Adam took inspiration from his Mexican-American heritage for the project, finishing the exterior of the sunglasses with hand-drawn graphics that give the nod to the myth of Huitzilopochtli, the Aztec Sun God. The ancient Aztecs believed human sacrifice was needed to keep the sun rising day after day, denoted in the red interior and “bleeding heart” inlay, while the hummingbird emblem references the literal translation of Huitzilopochtli, meaning “hummingbird on left.” Featuring dark grey lenses offering 100% UV protection, the acetate shades have a production run limited to just 100 pairs. Get them now through LOOK/SEE’s online store.
