Previously, Marimekko‘s most high profile collaboration took the form of annual partnerships with Converse, but now the Finnish design house has debuted its colorful print work on a higher profile canvas: namely, a Finnair Airbus A340 flying between Helsinki and Asia, adorned with Marimekko’s celebrated Unikko floral print. An additional aircraft in Marimekko livery takes flight in Spring 2013, while the entire Finnair fleet will feature a Marimekko for Finnair collection of textiles and tableware, also starting in Spring 2013.
