Marc Jacobs' tenure as the creative director for Louis Vuitton is now at year 15, and when fashion historians eventually evaluate his long-running stewardship of the French luxury fashion house, they'll no doubt point to the revitalization of the brand through a series of artist collaborations. When Jacobs first reached out to artist Stephen Sprouse in 2001, the partnership was groundbreaking, and effectively created a direct line to a project like this one, in which street artist RETNA transformed the facade of Louis Vuitton's Miami Design District store into a sprawling work of art.
