Honoring the countless men and women who served in all branches of the US military this Veterans Day weekend, NCAA, the association which organized all forms of collegiate sports, conceived the Armed Forces Classic, a series of collegiate basketball games to take place at various military facilities. Doubles as the tips-off venue to college basketball season, few of the games will take place on aircraft carriers, like Ohio State vs. Marquette on the deck of USS Yorktown for Navy-Marine Corps Classic and Georgetown vs. Florida on board USS Bataan for Carrier Classic. A way to show its support for the teams and veterans, Jordan Brand will be outfitting players from Marquette and Georgetown special Jordan Super.Fly in digital camouflage. For Marquette University’s Golden Eagles, each will be wearing Jordan Super.Fly with subtle digi-camo appointments in White/Midnight Navy-Varsity Maize, the school’s color. The Hoyas of Georgetown University will have the same model but in their school color variation of White/Midnight Navy-Lightt Graphite. Transparent outsoles on each of the designs will showcase emblems of respective schools. Look for both and other games within the Armed Forces Classic tonight on sports networks of ESPN, NBC, and NBC Sports Network.
