Though Woolrich John Rich & Bros. hails from the U.S. (distributed globally through Italy’s WP) and nanamica from Japan, the two brands coming together makes eminent sense, as both meld classic designs with expert craftsmanship and the highest attention to detail. The partnership yields an updated version of the classic Woolrich mountain parka from the 1970s, featuring a 60% cotton/40% nylon fabrication reinforced with a waterproof membrane across the back. Unique design notes include a shoulder yoke constructed from nylon, as well as gold metallic buttons adorned with iconic Woolrich branding from the ’70s. A paisley bandana print lining finishes the look. Available in black and navy/orange, the parka is slated to drop December 1st exclusively at select Barneys stores and online.
