The New York Times   The Story of Supreme  Yesterday amid all the Thanksgiving Day ads, political op-eds, and stock tickers stood an in-depth feature story in the New York Times on NYC’s own streetwear brand, Supreme. Titled “Guerrilla Fashion: The Story of Supreme,” the article introduces the reader to the fast-growing cult that is the Supreme fan base, which has members around the world and hundreds that regularly camp-out for a limited run. Writer Alex Williams even snagged a rare interview with the founder of the 18-year-old brand, James Jebbia, weaving in his thoughts on the brand’s heritage, future, and standing in streetwear community, even as the label graces GQ and has caught the attention of Bieb’s.
