CONVERSE First String Chuck Taylor All Star Made in Maine Boot

For Holiday 2012, Converse celebrates New England’s hand crafted tradition in tandem with the brand’s rich American heritage through the limited-edition Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Made in Maine Boot. Released under the premium First String Standards imprint, the boot is manufactured with an assist from the Highland Shoe Company, based out of Brewer, Maine, and founded on the principles of hand-made craftsmanship. The boot itself is crafted from superior Horween oiled Chamois leather with a Vibram Jumbo Ripple outsole with leather board construction, which allows for re-soling after years of wear and tear.  Limited to a quantity of 80 pairs, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Made in Maine Boot launches this Friday at Converse boutiques in New York City and Boston, as well as First String retailers globally.

Release Date: November 30th, 2012 (Friday)
