Named after the legendary off-road trail in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. Consequently, Jeep is introducing the Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition at the L.A. Auto Show, available in two- or four-door variants. The vehicle is powered by a Pentastar V6 3.6-liter engine putting out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, mated to a standard six-speed manual or available five-speed automatic transmission. The off-road features include all-new steel winch-capable bumpers with removable end caps, additional ground clearance, new rock rails and BF Goodrich KM2 off-road tires. Inside, the Wrangler gets “Anniversary Red” leather seats, plus red stitching at the steering wheel and center console. Look for the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition to go on sale in Spring 2013.
