One of the few tuning house specialized solely in Mercedes-Benz modifications, BRABUS will be introducing its new BRABUS B62-620 Widestar Edition at next week's Essen Motor Show in Germany. Much like its class-leading predecessor, the BRABUS 800 Widestar, engineers built upon a model already in existence, in this case the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. Powerplant is still the same 5.5-liter, twin-turbo V8 though tuned to an output of 620 horsepower instead of the standard 544 horsepower. Technicians also squeezed out 45 additional lb-ft of torque, which now stands at 605 lb-ft comparing to 560 lb-ft. Performance aside, BRABUS added a range of luxurious accompaniments from 23-inch alloy wheels, side skirt and running board with LED lighting, plus a more aggressive, wider front and back stands. A brand new interior in premium leather and other refinements will also be available as well. Get to know this new beast of a vehicle in the following photos and video after the click.
