Sporting flared fenders, more power, and a new internal layout, Porsche‘s 911 GT3 Race Cup Car is truly ready to live up to its reputation as the most successful racecar in the world. Essentially the seventh generation of the car, which first debuted back in 1998, this race-ready version of the iconic 911 will be the standard vehicle wearing the Porsche logo at the Mobil 1 Supercup Series and it is packed with a 3.8-liter flat-6 engine capable of producing 460 horses through a six-speed paddle-shift trans. It has also been built with a new safety cage and race seat for better driver protection, a center-mount racing wheel, and a wider pair of shoes and brakes to boot. Past this point, Porsche sees no need to mess with perfection. If you’ve got the cash, you can pick up one of the 2,395 to be produced. In the meantime, you can find out more about this Racer after the jump.
