The http://nba.com/2012/news/11/13/2013-all-star-ballot-release/index.html” target=”_blank”>2013 NBA All-Star Game is set to kick-off on February 17th, 2013 at http://houstontoyotacenter.com” target=”_blank”>Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Interestingly enough, NASA’s http://nasa.gov/centers/johnson/home/index.html” target=”_blank”>Johnson Space Center is around the area too, which can only mean one thing – the return of http://nikebasketball.com” target=”_blank”>Nike Basketball‘s so-called “Galaxy Pack.” While space exploration and http://nasa.gov” target=”_blank”>NASA’s past endeavor were the main themes for this year’s All-Star Game pack, Nike is looking beyond the far reaches of our galaxy as inspiration for the 2013 edition, like this Nike LeBron X GS “Galaxy”. Appointed with a pattern much like the moon craters and alien landscape, the each of the 3M-like reflective appliqué actually lights up at a certain angle. The galaxy-esque design worked its way onto the interior as well, with an imposing “NSR LJ6″ graphic, a supposed nebula in the form of http://lebronjames.com” target=”_blank”>LeBron James‘ lion emblem. More previews of these and other All-Star editions are expected in the coming months as the event nears.
