In honor of the 12.12.12. launch of the http://nike.com/” target=”_blank”>Nike Lunar Force 1, http://1948london.com/” target=”_blank”>1948 London set up an elaborate installation highlighting the inspiration of the shoe and featuring a design aesthetic that reflects the all white colorway of the introductory style. The display is airy and light, harking back to the shoe’s lightweight Hyperfuse construction and contemporary silhouette. Still lifes framed on the walls, meanwhile, point to the shoe as a design object to be desired, though the discerning Nike head will purchase the Lunar Force 1 with the intent of wearing them to the ground.
