The crew at Kith gives us a unique perspective in the making of a high-profile release. Specifically, they provide a behind the scenes look into the photo shoot for the Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel Lyte III “Selvedge,” which launched just last week. Taking place over the course of three days, the shoot was engineered to highlight the theme of the shoe itself — namely, the heritage of the American workforce. Consequently, the guys used untreated wood in the form of salvaged pallets from a nearby Bleecker Street dumpster to form the backdrop. Photographer Pete set up the shoot right there on the street, risking life and limb to get the perfect shots. Check out his story below.
