Los Angeles-based photographer Michael Miller has shot many iconic photographs of rap legends that rose to fame from the late “80s onwards. Shepard Fairey dug deep into Miller’s archives collection for this collaboration print, as Fairey was heavily influenced by NWA, and in particular viewed Eazy-E as one of his rap heroes. Therefore, it was only natural that he would gravitate towards a black-and-white photo of the late rapper. In this video interview, the pair explains the dynamics of the collaboration and their perspective on Eazy-E. This print can be found at Obey’s online shop, with only 750 editions being made.
