For the men’s Moncler Gamme Bleu Fall 2013 runway show in Milan, Thom Browne introduced something akin to a Braveheart on Ice motif. The models strode down the winter wonderland set brandishing ski poles like weapons, sporting war paint in Browne’s signature blue, white and red stripes. The looks feature an explosion of tartan plaids, in which the pattern appears on belted sport coats, trousers and kilts, as well as a strong dose of cable-knit Shetland wools.
