Marking the brand’s 60th anniversary, Missoni‘s recent runway show in Milan featured a Fall/Winter 2013 collection heavy on the fashion house’s iconic knits, appearing on wool blazers and chunky cardigans with the expected zig-zag and chevron patterns. At the same time, a progressive bent could be seen in a new emphasis on tailoring, highlighted by suiting and overcoats. The color palette was the binding element throughout the collection, dominated by warm earth tones, as well as the dark indigo of a denim collaboration with Jean Machine. Similarly, a co-branded pair of Converse Jack Purcells upped the contemporary quotient, ably demonstrating the new tricks up Missoni’s 60-year-old finely knitted sleeves. Check out more looks below.
