Toyota Racing Development (TRD) is the Japanese automaker's in-house tuning shop, responsible for improving the performance of the everything branded with their name, including this Toyota GT86 Concept (aka Scion FR-S). Revealed at this year's Tokyo Auto Salon, this twin-charged supercar has a completely reworked suspension system to go with its long list of lightweight components, beginning with the carbon fiber aero kit, roof, bumpers, and hood and continuing with carbon weave fenders and polycarbonate windows. All together the Griffon Concept has shed about 500 lbs compared to the stock version, weighing in at just 2,280 lbs, ultimately allowing this 86 to move around the Tskuba circuit faster than a Ferrari 458, Corvette ZR1, and the Lambo Gallardo without any added power.
