McQ by Alexander McQueen gives us a comprehensive look at their Fall 2013 offerings, proving that the label from the late designer can still present a strong continuation of the man’s incredible legacy. As with every season, the McQ line plays tricks with our eyes; using traditional cuts and styles as the base of the look before a closer look reveals a series of eclectic tweaks, accents, and prints that bring the pieces into their own realm. While the second half of the lookbook introduces a touch of color – reds and grays – into the tailored blazers, slender shirts, and cropped pants, the collection begins with a more stark, monochromatic dark overtone that walks the line of contemporary and offbeat across a series of suits, sweaters, and outerwear. Ultimately, in its unconventionality it can only be described as signature McQueen. Check the rest of the collection after the click.
