Nike Lunar Montreal – January 2013

By - January 21st, 2013

Past meets present with these two new Nike Lunar Montreal’s, out for January 2013. A smooth combination of a racer and a trainer that will have your feet flying and your wardrobe flashing, this latest take on the old school Steve Prefontaine signature runner comes in two two-tone colorups, including an Obsidian with Gray as well as a Navy, Anthracit. Both use premium suede materials with textile contrasts and embroidered Swooshes. Tonal laces, reflective heel tabs, and blue sock liners finish the look, while a contrasting white Lunar sole with Nike+ Technology complete the look. The perfect choice for races or training runs or just a  relaxing casual stroll, you can pick these up now at all size? locations, including their online shop for £90

For whatever reason, it’s pretty tricky to marry a ‘true’ green shade with something bluer like Nike’s currently thriving Dark Atomic Teal.  It seems like the Swoosh’s Sportswear division might be onto something by upping the monochromatic quotient, including two Nike Lunar Montreal+ colorups that make teal look great with and without a kelly-ish companion.  Don’t be surprised if each of the colors on the first pair has ‘Atomic’ in its name, as in the green, teal and dark teal brought together on a design with distinctive heel striping.  Its packmate is more familiar, a two-toned teal makeup with white accents, and you can decide for yourself which looks best after seeing more images below.
