Carhartt WIP presents a short film, “A Golden Light Underneath My Car,” shot on location with 4k cinema cameras in Italy. Directed by Alexander Basile, the film explores the importance of human connection in a modern day metropolis, at the same time showcasing the signature Carhartt WIP look. But the star of the film just may be the locations themselves, spanning the Calabria region of Southern Italy, as well as the cities of Naples and Bari. In another nod to the theme of connection, Bari’s architecture features a clash of different styles that make it reminiscent of Detroit, the birthplace of the Carhartt brand.
