One thing you could say about J. J. Abrams is that the business of entertainment is in his blood. From a family of producers and screenwriter, Abrams’ talent in multitasking allowed him to be the writer, producer, director, even music composer to films like Regarding Henry, Armageddon, Mission: Impossible III, Super 8, Star Trek, and etc… He also dabbled in television series with Alias, Lost, Fringe, just name a few. But come 2015, Abrams will be taking on his most notable job role thus far as the director of Star War: Episode VII. It was about two months ago when Abrams rumored to turned down the position because of schedule conflicts. But anonymous sources told industry news site TheWrap that Abrams will be taking the job after all. Of course, Lucasfilm, its new owner Disney, and the publicist for J.J. Abrams will not comment about the speculation at this time.
