It won’t just be the jerseys, adidas Basketball will be outfitting Dwight Howard, Jrue Holiday, Tim Duncan and the rest of its player roster with all new footwear during next month’s 2013 NBA All-Star Game in Houston. Each designed to be a bold statement, the so-called “impact camo” pattern also reflects Houston’s energy, lifestyle, and its history as an aerospace hub. In all, a trio of styles will be unleash during the game day. First up, Jrue Holiday of the Philadelphia 76ers and Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs will take to the court in adidas Crazy Fast, specifically designed for fast pace gameplay thanks to its all-new SPRINTWEB silhouette. Hailed as the world’s lightest basketball sneakers at only 9.5 ounces, the adidas adizero Crazy Light 2 will also be making an appearance, though the most heralded edition would the adidas D Howard Light, the new signature footwear for Los Angeles Lakers‘ Dwight Howard.
While the 2013 NBA All-Star Game won’t be till February 17th, all three special editions will be available starting this Friday, February 1st, at select Houston retailers and adidas.com.
