Once a prerequisite on sports fields and arenas, Starter‘s fabled Satin Jacket will be making a comeback during this weekend’s Super Bowl XLVII. Known to many simply as the “Starter Jacket,” the classic outerwear wasn’t just a wardrobe staple among athletes and fans, but a must-have for hip-hop moguls and fashionable trendsetters. Now thanks to former New York Giants’ Carl Banks and his company G-III Sports, the Starter Satin Jacket, along with a full apparel range for Fall 2013 will be making its debut during Super Bowl Weekend in New Orleans. Expect more information to come from Starter in the months ahead, including licensed teamwear for NBA as well as the NFL.
