For 30 years, Fire-King enjoyed a terrific run with their American made glass mugs and plates until their closure in 1976. After the long hiatus, Fire-King was revitalized thanks to the new Japanese company, Fire-King Japan. Unlike their American predecessors, the products manufactured in Japan are all made by hand by glass artisans in Japan. Therefore, their Heritage Series is very popular in Japan, lending itself to numerous collaborations in the past.
