Inspired by the Bugatti Type 57, the Bugatti Gangloff concept is a stunning update of the rare classic. Polish designer Pawel Czyzewski came up with the name as a tribute to Gangloff, the French coachbuilder that created a special custom version of the Type 57 SC Atalante in 1938. The bold design isn’t strictly a reimagining of the old car, as there are Veyron elements evident in the build. Czyzewski believes his creation harks back to a time when forging a human connection was paramount in the design and manufacturing process. “In times of commercial trash and plastic,” he says, “it is hard to see something that has a soul and is able to squeeze out a positive mark on the heart.” Check out more looks in the gallery below, but keep in mind that they depict a design study, meaning there’s virtually zero chance the concept coupe will ever see production.
