When Air Jordan XII first appeared back in 1997, it took on several distinctions. Inspired by the rising sun pattern on Nisshoki, or the Japanese flag, its unique silhouette also came about from an unlikely source, a 19th century woman’s dress boots. In addition to be the pair worn by Michael Jordan during his now legendary “flu game” against the Utah Jazz, the design came to be known for another milestone, as the first Air Jordan design to bear the Jordan Brand name. The 12th entry to the ongoing #XX8DaysofFlight collection, the black/neon-green colorway seems to “pop” thanks to the polished jet black premium leather. The countdown to Air Jordan XX8 continues…
