Looks like no one over at Mercedes-Benz ever got that memo about not tinkering with a good thing because they’ve decided to roll-out a more powerful version of their C63 AMG, the Edition 507. The changes begin with 50 more horses in its naturally-aspirated 6.3-liter V8 engine than its predecessor, which was achieved thanks to a few borrowed pieces from the SLS AMG, including its forged pistons, new connecting rods, and a lighter crankshaft. On the other end of the speedometer, the Edition 507 picks up a beefier braking system, with larger front composite brake discs and all the brakes coming ventilated, perforated, and painted red tucked within 19-inch AMG cross-spoke wheels. A new spoiler lip and radiator grille finish the exterior upgrades, while the interior comes with your choice of three “designo” leather color schemes along with a new AMG steering wheel and instrument cluster. Expect the 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 to go on sale this summer after its reveal in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
