Hot on the heels of a duo of OG styles, the Reebok Kamikaze II is set to launch in a quintet of new colorways, each marked with the unique zig-zag design that immediately identifies the sneaker that Shawn Kemp wore during the 1995 – 1996 season. A Red/Silver style pays tribute to the Reign Man’s Seattle past, featuring colors that give the nod to the city’s famous Pike Place Fish Market. A shiny silver base is embossed with a fish scale texture, while red accenting references Seattle’s famous Pacific salmon. In addition to the Red/Silver pair, fans can expect a “Then and Now” four-pack as part of the release. The “Then” styles are made up of an OG Navy/White and a Sonics-inspired White/Green/Yellow, while the “Now” colorways feature Red/Yellow and Black/Blue/Orange makeups, representing the Houston Rockets and the Oklahoma City Thunder respectively. The collection is set to drop February 15th at select retailers and Reebok.com, with the White/Green/Yellow and Black/Blue/Orange styles dropping exclusively at Foot Locker.
