The Toyota GT86 already has a pretty intimidating reputation, but this GT4 Edition may be the most hardcore of them all. Tuned for use in the upcoming European GT4 Championship scheduled for May by GPRM, a Buckingham-based motorsport specialist team, this GT86 packs a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine specially designed and built by Nicholson McLaren and is expected to produce between 360 and 400hp. The car is currently undergoing pre-season performance testing to refine its power and finesse even though there isn’t a full corporate sponsor on-board, but something tells me that’s not going to be the case for long. Now let’s hope all this work out of Toyota GB trickles down to us back on the showroom floor. You can check out more looks of this newest GT4 racer from Toyota after the click.
