Brown aged leather utilized on skateboarding shoes may seem incongruous on its face, but Vans has enjoyed a long history of dressing its classic silhouettes with initially unexpected materials, resulting in designs that end up making a whole lot of sense. In this particular instance, the alchemy produces an Old Skool and Authentic built with an upper crafted entirely from brown leather. Both pairs rest on a white midsole accented with a black foxing stripe, while the same black hue is used on the laces. Vans’ signature waffle outsole finishes the look.
