http://aesop.com/” target=”_blank”>Aesop opened its first West Coast store last December, featuring a striking layout rivaling its http://freshnessmag.com/2013/01/16/aesop-signature-stores-by-cheungvogl/” target=”_blank”>European and Asian counterparts from Hong Kong-based design studio Cheungvogl. Located on Fillmore Street in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights district, the storefront is both minimalist and overwhelming: the space is narrow and deep, with one wall made from smooth cork, the other crowded with sculptural shelving comprising 600 recycled pine boxes. As designed by Nader Tehrani of Boston-based architectural firm http://nadaaa.com/” target=”_blank”>NADAAA, the space is a reimagining of the modern day apothecary. It’s a unique showcase for Aesop’s regimented bottles, containing products devoted to all things relating to the care and maintenance of hair, skin and body. Check out more looks below.
