Rarely has the city of Houston seen so many line-up going up at once. But there it was over the weekend when the Galleria Mall and its adidas Store played host to Queen of G.O.O.D. Music, Teyana Taylor, and the official launch of her very own adidas Originals GLC “Harlem”. A mirror image to all that inspired Taylor, from high fashion to street style, the adidas Originals GLC “Harlem” is also laden with symbolic, explained by Latoya Kamara, Merchandising Manager for adidas Originals. While the copper-tone snakeskin reflects Taylor’s preferences to a luxe lifestyle, the ribcage-like heel tab is emblematic to where Taylor’s heart is, for her music and her fans. All were quite apparent when the young hip-hop artist stayed on after her in-store performance with Big Sean and Pusha T to sign autographs and greet each fan who came through.
